Investment in Your Healing

Paying for Your Intensive

I aim to make the investment in your healing as transparent and straightforward as possible. Hearthspring Intensives accepts all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards for all intensive services. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your therapeutic dates, with the remaining balance settled the morning of the start of our deep-dive sessions. My focus is on creating a space of ease and focused attention, starting from the very first logistical step.

Insurance & Superbills

Navigating the financial logistics of deep healing should be clear and supportive. While Hearthspring Intensives is an out-of-network provider, I aim to make your reimbursement process as seamless as possible. At the conclusion of your intensive, I provide a detailed monthly superbill containing all necessary diagnostic and procedural codes. You can submit this directly to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance advocate prior to our work together to confirm your specific out-of-network behavioral health benefits.

Deposits & Rescheduling

Policies with Care

To honor the intentionality and extensive preparation that goes into each intensive session, I maintain clear boundaries around scheduling. Because these sessions reserve a significant block of time in our calendar, a non-refundable 50% deposit is collected upon booking to secure your dedicated dates. This commitment ensures that the space remains a sanctuary for deep work.

Should you need to reschedule, I request at least a 14-day notice. This window allows me to offer the opening to others on my waiting list. While I understand life can be unpredictable, this policy protects the integrity of the intensive model and the focused care I provide to every client.

Logistics & Common Questions

What does the financial investment look like for a therapy intensive?

I believe in transparency when it comes to the cost of care. Ranges typically mirror the equivalent of four to twelve standard weekly sessions. This concentrated approach includes the focused therapy hours plus the necessary preparation and integration periods.

How does payment work and what forms are accepted?

The process is designed to be as seamless as possible. I accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards. To secure your intensive dates, I require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is settled the morning before the intensive begins, allowing our time together to remain entirely focused on your healing process.

Can I use my insurance for an intensive?

Hearthspring Intensives is an out-of-network provider. This allows the clinical focus to remain strictly on your needs rather than meeting insurance company constraints. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits for "intensive outpatient psychotherapy" services.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Because intensives involve reserving significant blocks of clinical time, I maintain a specific cancellation and rescheduling policy. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your dates. If you need to reschedule, I ask for a 2-week notice period to apply your deposit to a future date. I handle these boundaries with warm reassurance and professional clarity.

What practical details should I know about the location and schedule?

As my practice is telehealth-only, our sessions are completed at your home or a safe and secure place of your choice. Most intensives begin at 8:00 AM, and I build in regular, restorative breaks for deep integration. You are encouraged to plan a nourishing lunch for after the session and to have water and snacks on-hand.
